$75 (60 mins.) or $90 w/ Tint
An eyelash lift is a new semi-permanent curling technique using a silicone pad to work with your natural lashes, making them look fuller and longer for 6 – 8 weeks. A lash lift can be a great alternative to extensions if you have allergies, or if you rub your eyes a lot.
Eyelash Extensions FAQs
Who does eyelash extensions at Tranquility Spa Salon?
Certified lash professional Tristin Elizabeth is our resident expert. Learn more about Tristin.
What’s the best place for eyelash extensions in Brooklyn Park?
Tranquility Spa Salon, of course! Personally, we think it’s the best place for lash extensions in the Twin Cities’ northwestern suburbs (Brooklyn Park, Maple Grove and Osseo).
What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are a semi-permanent solution for people looking to dramatically enhance their short or sparse lashes without the hassle of messy mascara. Unlike old-fashioned strip lashes, lash extensions are customized to meet your specific aesthetic needs. The curl, length, and fullness of your set of lash extensions vary from client to client. Our lashes are very natural looking and can be worn for weeks with minimal care. We apply individual lashes to a single natural eyelash using a FDA-safe, surgical-grade adhesive manufactured specifically for this application.
Is the glue safe to use in the eye area?
We use only specially formulated, surgical-grade glue that has been FDA approved for use around the eye. The glue is formaldehyde-free and very gentle.
How long will my eyelash extensions REALLY last?
Most clients can expect to come in for a re-lash every 2 – 3 weeks. It really depends on the growth cycle of your lashes and the fullness you are looking to maintain. To give you a clear idea, the maintenance of your lash extensions is very comparable to the maintenance of artificial nails. In general, an appointment to fill in any missing lashes should be scheduled when you have lost no more than half of your lash extensions. Filling more than half of the extensions will result in a full-set charge. Oil-based products around the eyes should be avoided — along with excessive rubbing of the eye area — to help make lashes last as long as possible.
Do you have any BEFORE & AFTER pictures?
Sure do! You can check out our before and after eyelash extension pictures on Facebook (non-Facebookers, can view the pics, too). P.S. We’d love it if you “like” our page!
What training does your Lash Professional have?
Certified in both eyelash extensions and eyelash lifts, Tristin Elizabeth is also an esthetician and nail technician. Since her training by NovaLash in 2007, she’s built and maintained a strong extension clientele. Tristin would be happy to answer any questions you might have about that.
How long does the lash application take? Asking Tristin about the time (she had “60-90 mins. at the top)
Your first visit for a full set of lashes will typically take about 2 hours, depending on how many natural lashes you have (after that, full sets usually take 60 – 90 mins). Once the initial set of lashes has been applied, you’ll need to schedule routine appointments with us to fill in any lost lashes. For those clients who choose to maintain their lashes every 2 – 3 weeks, the appointment will last about 30 – 60 minutes, depending on how many lashes you’ve shed.
Do lash extensions damage the lashes?
With proper application and at-home care, your natural lashes won’t be damaged by extensions.
Can I wear mascara with my lash extensions?
Most women who wear eyelash extensions find they no longer need to wear mascara. For best results, we recommend that women don’t coat their lash extensions with mascara, as this will shorten the life of the lash. But for the occasional night out when you want a little extra oomph, you can use a NON-WATERPROOF mascara. It’s safe for extensions and is easily removed.
Can I curl my lash extensions?
It’s not a good idea, no — but the lash extensions are already curled anyway! Curling the extensions is NOT recommended because it might snap the bond and shorten the life of the lashes.
How are eyelash extensions removed?
We doubt that you'll want your lashes removed, but should you opt to give your lashes a break, eyelash extensions should only be removed by a qualified eyelash extension professional. The process utilizes a specialized remover that gently dissolves the adhesive without damaging natural lashes or irritating the eyelid or eye. There will be a charge for removal as it does take anywhere from 30 – 60 mins. If you choose to not have them removed, then the lashes will shed as they grow out and with time, they’ll be gone.
What product(s) do you use on your clients?
We use NovaLash and NaturaLash brand eyelash extension and medical-grade adhesive for those clients interested in extending their natural lashes.
What are your hours?
